Job Description
The State Universities Civil Service System is searching for a full-time professional Business/Administrative Associate/Human Resource Associate position. This position is part of the Legal and Compliance Services Division and will have the responsibility for the implementation and administration of all functions related to the statutory compliance audits within the State Universities Civil Service system. This position will provide guidance to universities and agencies regarding regulatory compliance with the Act, Code, or Policies and Procedures. This will include conducting onsite operational human resource audits at the various public universities and affiliated agencies on a routine two-year cycle focusing on the following areas: position administration, pay administration, employment and separation matters, administrative exempted personnel, and an overall human resource program evaluation. Qualifications
The applicant should have a general knowledge of human resource functions and be able to quickly grasp various business activities associated with this occupational area. To qualify for this position, an applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in human resource administration or business administration, management or a related field; two years of professional-level accounting, managerial and/or business experience.
Salary
Salary will be commensurate with education level and experience.
