Job Description
The Assistant Risk Manager is responsible for providing assistance to the Director of Risk Management and senior staff as it relates to Cyber, Esports, and other emerging risks. In addition, this position will be responsible for property loss prevention and claims response, insurance placement and contract review, and risk assessment for both property and liability exposures.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor's or equivalent degree. (verify with transcript).
2. Two (2) years of full time (or part-time equivalent) professional level experience in loss prevention, safety, insurance, risk management, or a related field.
3. Valid driver's license.
4. Ability to analyze data and develop rational and realistic conclusions based on relevant information to resolve issues brought to their attention.
5. Ability to write programs, letters, and reports in a clear and concise manner.
6. Demonstrated ability to investigate accidents such as slips and trips, vehicle accidents, and other human element loss exposures and determine root cause and assess liability.
7. Ability to read and interpret insurance language as it appears in contracts.
8. Ability to communicate with individuals from various technical and educational backgrounds.
9. Knowledge of basic computer programs, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, and other related programs.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience providing loss control services for a large and diverse organization
2. Experience working for an insurance company
3. Experience and/or knowledge of emerging risks such as cyber, Esports, Drone, and related loss prevention measures.
Salary
$60,000 - $70,000 annual
