    Responsible for the general internal office human resource function for the University System employees.

The monitor shall make a daily inspection of all mechanical/computerized equipment used for examination purposes to assure proper working condition. Malfunctions shall be repaired before an applicant is permitted to use the equipment. Applicants who are scheduled for typing tests shall be given a practice session before the actual test begins. If an equipment malfunction develops during the practice session, the applicant shall be told to make this fact known before the test begins. If an equipment malfunction is discovered during the test session and the testing is interrupted for this reason, the applicant shall be given a different test form and moved to another station. An explanation shall be appended to the examination.
