Job Description

Home to the School of Teaching and Learning, the Department of Educational Administration and Foundations, and the Department of Special Education, the College of Education is one of the premier teacher education institutions in the nation.

The Information Technology Manager/Administrative Coordinator position manages all aspects of technology in the college, including, but not limited to, the following:
-Supervise other technology personnel in the college
-Represent the college on campus technology committees
-Administer the college servers
-Provide technical support for faculty, staff and students
-Recommend technology purchases in the college
-Provide planning documents concerning technology in the college


Qualifications

1. Any combination totaling six years from the following categories:
a) progressively more responsible work experience in IT-related profession
b) college course work with a concentration in Information Technology (IT), IT Management, or a closely related discipline, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
- 60 semester hours or Associate's Degree equals one year
- 90 semester hours equals two years
- 120 semester hours or Bachelor's Degree equals three years
(Note: Only a maximum of 3 years credit for college course work is available.)

2. Two (2) years of total work experience in a supervisory or lead worker capacity.

If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, then employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.


Salary

$42,226.00 - $54,959.00 annual

The Civil Service examination for this classification is a credentials assessment. No participation other than submission of applicant materials is required from applicants that qualify to take the exam.
