Job Description

This position exists to provide for the lighting, sound, and audio-visual equipment needs of performances and meetings within the Bone Student Center/Braden Auditorium/Bowling & Billiards Center, and other University spaces as requested.


Qualifications

1. Any one or combination of the following types of preparation:
(a) 18 semester hours of college credit for course work in theater design and technology (such as courses in stage lighting, stage rigging, stage craft, scene design, sound systems, or technical direction); OR
(b) 18 months of work experience in technical operations of theatrical productions; OR
(c) any combination of training and experience, as defined above, that totals 18 months, computed on the basis of one credit hour being equivalent to one month of experience.

A final candidate must complete a post-offer pre-employment physical exam. Employment is contingent on the successful result of the pre-employment physical.

If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, then employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.


Salary

$16.13 - $25.81 per hour
