The Department of Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality is one of 12 departments within the Division of Student Affairs. It provides the campus community and guests with high-quality, efficient, and innovative event services and dining options in a variety of settings dedicated to accentuating and enhancing the campus experience in a diverse community.
Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality is committed to providing an outstanding dining experience for students. This position plays an integral role in accomplishing this goal by providing high level and confidential administrative support to the Director and other department administrators. Frequently conducts research and completed projects that are instrumental to the strategic outcomes of the department.

Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree
2. Two years of high level professional administrative support or higher education administrative experience.
3. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and be a self-starter.
4. Knowledge of basic computer programs, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Visio.
5. Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel.
6. Aptitude to learn software applications
7. Demonstrated ability to organize, analyze and interpret data and have strong attention to detail.
8. Strong oral and written communication skills.
9. Ability to exercise a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, dependability, and accuracy.
10. Excellent time management and problem solving skills.
11. Demonstrated experience managing complex schedules/calendars for multiple staff members.
12. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.
Salary
$19.48 - $21.54 per hour
