    Responsible for the general internal office human resource function for the University System employees.

    Develops, revises, and performs routine administration of the classification and corresponding examination system.

Job Description

Eastern Illinois University is seeking candidates for a Financial Aid Adviser in the Office of Financial Aid. This is a front-line position, assisting students and parents at the front desk and by telephone and email. Primary duties include explaining the financial aid application procedure, eligibility, verification requirements, scholarship searches, loans, and other financial aid options.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must be a high school graduate or equivalent and have two years of general office experience or an Associate’s Degree or two years of college coursework or any combination of education and office experience totaling two years.

Salary

$10.862/hour minimum
