Job Description
The mission of the Department of Campus Recreation is to enhance the quality of life of our unique members by educating and encouraging active participation in recreational opportunities that develop leadership skills, foster social interaction, and reinforce healthy behaviors.
The Account Technician II will be responsible for providing business support for the department. This includes, but is not limited to, processing and reconciling revenue and expenditure transactions, utilizing existing University systems to do entries and produce reports, managing payroll deduction activities, and preparing deposits.
Qualifications
1. Any one or any combination of the following types of preparation:
(a) Two (2) years of work experience performing duties comparable to the next lower level of this series; OR
(b) Nine (9) semester hours of college coursework in accounting (verify with transcript); OR
(c) Ninety (90) semester hours of college coursework in any curriculum (verify with transcript).
2. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.
Salary
$15.03-$15.78 per hour
