Job Description
The University High School Program Coordinator serves as the lead administrator for the University High Lunch Program. This position is responsible for the overall management and operation of the program, including ensuring the safety and compliance of food, facilities, and equipment. The Coordinator ensures that all aspects of the lunch program operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with applicable standards, codes, and institutional expectations and policies.
Key responsibilities include overseeing food safety and sanitation practices in alignment with applicable health regulations, managing food service operations and daily program activities, hiring, training, and supervising program staff, developing and maintaining the program budget, coordinating billing processes in partnership with the University High School Business Manager, procuring food, supplies, and equipment through appropriate ordering processes and suppliers, and ensuring facilities and equipment are maintained in a safe and operational condition.
This position is subject to summer academic break layoff, typically the month of July.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or equivalent degree
At least one year of work experience in food service
ANSI accredited Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certificate or ability to obtain within first month of employment
Preferred Qualifications
One year of experience working in an education-related institution
The following skills and/or abilities:
a. Technical skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and basic bookkeeping software.
b. Strong interpersonal skills.
c. Strong oral and written communication skills.
d. Ability to work independently.
Supervisory experience.
Prior experience working with or around teenagers.
Salary
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour, in addition to an excellent benefits package
