Job Description
The Purchasing Operations Supervisor directs the daily operations, coordination, and administrative management of the university’s Procurement Team. This role provides direction and oversight to ensure effective workflow and coordination across all purchasing functions. The position manages office operations, oversees administrative processes, and supports departmental leadership through coordinated communications and operational guidance. Additionally, the role ensures adherence to compliance and documentation requirements typical of a public sector and higher education environment and serves as a central point of coordination for campus departments, vendors, and procurement staff.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Business, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
2. At least two (2) years of full time (or part-time equivalent) experience in procurement, purchasing, accounts payable, supply chain, or administrative operations involving financial transactions.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience supporting procurement, finance, legal, or compliance functions.
2. Understanding of public procurement processes, bid/RFP procedures, and documentation requirements.
3. Familiarity with contract management systems, eProcurement platforms, and shared drive organization.
4. Experience coordinating vendor events or campus-wide communications.
5. Ability to draft polished documents, meeting minutes, and communications for broad distribution.
Salary
$3,700 – $5,300/month
