Job Description
Governors State University is seeking to hire a Web Developer IV position as a pivotal member of the ITS team, responsible for administering, developing, and supporting GovState's digital platforms. This role oversees the technical systems behind the public website, MyGSU portals, and several enterprise applications. Additionally, the position serves as a backup administrator for other critical systems.
This is a non-unionized position.
This is a full-time, on-campus position.
Days and hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 60-minute unpaid lunch.
This position may require after-hours and weekend work in the event of critical system outages or to perform maintenance and modifications.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer sdence, Information Technology, or related field.
• Five years of demonstrable, hands-on experience in Web development using one or
more of the following languages:
o PHP
o C# and.NET
o HTML
o JavaScript

• Application support experience for:
o Drupal CMS
o Microsoft Office365
o Microsoft Visual Studio
Salary
$82,608.00 - $95,000.
