Job Description
The Case Manager is responsible for providing non-clinical intervention and support resources for students. The Case Manager also will perform support functions for this role, including service on the Redbird Care Team (RCT), participation on the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT), and coordination of outreach functions on and off campus related to student behavioral concerns. The Case Manager will be responsible for the drafting and implementation of protocols associated with the position, as well as maintaining accurate electronic case management records.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Master's or equivalent degree
Valid U.S. driver's license
At least three years (36 months) of full-time experience working with adolescents or adults in case management, crisis intervention, advising, and/or advocacy situations
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree with emphasis in College Student Personnel or Development, Counseling, Leadership, Social Work, Education, or related area
Experience in the following:
a. At least five years coordinating and evaluating case management, counseling, social work, advocacy, or other related student services
b. At least five years of administrative experience (planning, data collection, report writing, utilization of assessment results)
c. Higher education crisis response related to student behavior
d. Formalizing protocols and standardizing procedures
e. Demonstrating knowledge of the legal issues that inform case management in higher education
Behavioral Intervention Team certification through NaBITA
Knowledge of national principles and procedures involved in risk assessment and evaluation
Knowledge and understanding of student development theory and practice

a. Advanced interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with a broad range of diverse student populations within a complex and multi-layered organization, including effective listening, discernment, empathy, and sensitivity skills
b. Ability to interact with senior campus leaders, including faculty and administrators
c. Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and commitment to personal cultural competency
d. Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
e. Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Salary
$58,000-$64,000 annual, combined with an excellent benefits package
