Job Description
This role is essential to the daily functioning of Foundation Operations, delivering exceptional customer service, playing an integral role in the completion of daily operations tasks, and supports the operations team with departmental goals. It requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure accurate financial and donor record management.
The Division of University Advancement seeks to enhance the image of Illinois State University, cultivate relationships, and secure funds. The division is comprised of several teams working together, including Development, Alumni Engagement, University Marketing and Communications, and Advancement/Foundation Operations.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Any one or combination totaling three (3) years (36 months) from the following categories:
A. college coursework in business administration, communications, public relations or a closely related field as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
- 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
- Associate’s Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
- 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
- Bachelor’s degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)
B. responsible work experience in customer services, public relations, office administration, business and financial operations, healthcare administration or other closely related experience
Preferred Qualifications
1. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, data entry, and other office procedures.
2. Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
3. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a wide array of audiences, including campus partners, donors, and leadership.
4. Ability to work independently and effectively organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
Salary
$19.49 - $20.51 per hour
