Job Description

Under the general supervision of higher-level personnel, an employee at this level is responsible for the organization, security, and administration of examinations. The role of this individual includes proctoring exams, maintaining logs of test candidates, and ensuring the University’s adherence to outside vendor contracts. The employee assists University staff and students with inquiries related to examinations and/or Testing Services, student academic records, and document imaging. This employee is responsible for daily document imaging for the Office of the University Registrar, as well as imaging projects as needed. The employee assists with the maintenance of students’ academic records.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Any one or combination totaling one (1) year (12 months) from the categories below:

A. course work in any discipline as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
- 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)

B. work experience which could include administrative support, admissions and enrollment, customer service, public relations, records management, or closely related experience.

Preferred Qualifications
1.Demonstrated experience using the Campus Solutions student information system.
2.Demonstrated experience using the PerceptiveContent imaging software with Campus Solutions.
3.Experience with maintenance of student academic records.
4.Knowledge of and demonstrated adherence to University academic policies.
5.Experience with Microsoft Office.
6.Experience maintaining relationships with outside vendors and ensuring adherence to the vendor contracts.


Salary

$17.50 - $18.25 per hour

The Civil Service examination for this classification is based on your application materials and responses to the supplemental questions. If you meet the minimum required qualifications for this position, you will receive a score calculated based on your education and experience, and your name will be placed on the active employment register by exam score. After the application deadline, the names within the top three scores will be referred to the department for interview.
