Job Description
Provides expert guidance and support in the areas of employment, compensation, classification, discipline, and employee relations for Civil Service and Extra Help positions. Offers coaching and consultation to supervisors and administrators on policies and procedures related to recruitment and selection, probationary periods, layoffs, promotions, disciplinary actions, performance management, and other personnel matters. Collaborates as part of a team of Human Resources professionals to support cross-functional initiatives and contribute constructively to projects and activities aligned with the responsibilities of the role.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s or higher degree in Human Resource Administration, Management, Organizational Administration, Public Administration, Labor Relations, Business Administration or a field closely related to the position.
2. At least two (2) years of full-time, professional-level human resources experience (or the part-time equivalent), including advising supervisors on applicant evaluation, interviewing, hiring processes, compensation, and classification.
Salary
$27.14 per hour
