Qualifications
Required Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Two (2) years of building mechanical and/or building electrical work experience.( This experience refers to building mechanical maintenance such as light carpentry and plumbing. It does not include machinery or farm implement maintenance).
3. A final candidate must complete a post-offer pre-employment physical exam. Employment is contingent on the successful result of the pre-employment physical.
4. Valid State of Illinois driver’s license (please see note below)
NOTE: Must acquire a Class A Commercial Driver’s License within first five (5) months of employment for this position. Per federal law a CDL license holder is subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
Preferred Qualifications
1. High mechanical aptitude.
2. Basic knowledge of principles, materials and methods of building construction and repair of basic mechanical devices. Prior maintenance and/or construction experience is essential.
Salary
$24.74 per hour
