About the position:
The Student Success Specialist provides critical support to IBHE’s student success initiatives by coordinating student-focused programs, grants, and partnerships; assists in grant administration and support of other student success, basic needs, and mental health initiatives.
This is a covered position under the State Universities Civil Service System.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
Manages assigned student-focused programs, grants and partnerships:
Assists with applicable grant administration and reporting
Coordinates student success convenings and events
Tracks program participation and institutional engagement
Provides project management and communication support for student services initiatives
Prepares data summaries and reports
Supports Communities of Practice, conferences, and other trainings
Coordinates communication to institutional stakeholders as directed
Other duties as assigned, within scope of position
Organizational Relationship
Position reports to the Director of Student Success Strategy.
There are no direct reports to this position.
Qualifications
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
1+ year of experience working with student-focused programs
Required Skills:
Knowledge of student programs, organizations, and relevant resources
Ability to establish a communicative role between institutions and students
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and peers
Preferred skills:
Experience with grant administration and reporting
Experience with project management
Experience with summarizing and reporting on data
Salary
commensurate with experience within the range of $55,00-max $70,000/yr
