Job Description
The mission of Campus Recreation is to enhance the quality of life of our unique members by educating and encouraging the active participation in recreational opportunities that develop leadership skills, foster social interaction and reinforce healthy behaviors. This position will be responsible for broadcast & productions efforts, social media & marketing, and community engagement initiatives for the Redbird Esports program. Additional support in student leader development, fiscal responsibility, risk management, and project planning functions summer camps and other community events of the program area. The individual will supervise, evaluate, and train student personnel and volunteers. The position will work with student groups and departments to plan and hold events in all facilities that meet University guidelines and risk mitigation/safety protocols with a strong focus on utilizing the planning process as an educational opportunity.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, business administration, communications, public relations, or a closely related field.
2. One (1) year (12 months) of full-time or part-time equivalent professional work experience in marketing, public relations, communications, brand management, or a related professional area. (Note: Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year (12 months) of work experience.)
3. Demonstrated ability to communicate proficiently both verbally and in writing.
4. Demonstrated organizational skills in broadcast and production, content creations, and community management.
5. Demonstrated experience in Discord community development.
6. Demonstrated familiarity with a broad range of broadcast and production and social media management equipment/software and demonstrated experience maintaining and documenting equipment inventory.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master's degree
2. Availability to work flexible shifts, evenings and weekends when needed.
3. Experience with successful community event development, management and/or coordination.
4. Demonstrated experience in summer camp development and oversight.
5. Demonstrated experience in a variety of broadcast/production and content creation software, including but not limited to; Adobe Suite, Blender, Unreal Engine, VMIX, OBS, NDI, etc.
6. Demonstrated experience in the training and supervision of student employees to accomplish program objectives.
7. Possess American Red Cross CPR/AED/BBP and First Aid basic certification.
8. Possess American Red Cross CPR/AED/BBP/First Aid instructor certification.
9. Familiarity and/or comfort with Fusion (or equivalent member management software), Discord, and GG Leap (or equivalent LAN management program).
Salary
$50,000 - $54,000 annual
