Job Description
This position will serve as the day-to-day compliance contact for several assigned sports, responsible for managing all recruiting, Eligibility Center, scholarship/NLI, and admissions tasks. Other duties will include reviewing outside scholarships and exemption of merit-based scholarships.
This position is responsible for working with NCAA bylaws, rules, interpretations, and educational columns daily. The ability to take questions, research answers, and respond concisely and professionally is essential. This individual will regularly interact with coaches and operations staff (60+), student-athletes (450+), department and university staff (100+), as well as external boosters (unlimited). Researching and accurately responding to questions while managing regular workload is essential. Working knowledge of the NCAA manual and various NCAA computer systems is crucial to success in this position. The consequences of an improper interpretation could have a devastating impact on student-athletes, athletic department, and the institution.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in sports administration, business administration, or related field.
2. Two (2) years of full-time or part-time equivalent professional level work experience dealing directly with NCAA rules and regulations at an NCAA Division I or II-member school, conference office, or national office.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master’s degree or other advanced degree
2. Four (4) years of full-time employment dealing directly with NCAA rules and regulations at an NCAA I or II-member school, conference office, or national office.
Salary
$42,000 - $48,500 annual
