CHILD CARE RESOURCE SPECIALIST

The Eastern Illinois University School of Family and Consumer Sciences Child Care Resource and Referral is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Child Care Resource Specialist position. Qualifications for this position are a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following related fields (ECE, Child Development, Child Psychology/Behavioral Sciences, Family Consumer Sciences, Social Work, Elementary Education, Child Welfare, Family Services, Psychology, Sociology).

Responsibilities include coordination of trainings for child care providers, attending professional development meetings, attending outreach events, promotion, technical assistance, and processing of various funds available to programs along with collecting, entering, and analyzing data as required by the Department for the statewide Child Care Resource and Referral system. The Civil Service examination for this position is a credentials assessment. No participation other than the submission of application materials is required from qualified applicants.

Salary

$2,964–3,083 USD per month
