Eastern Illinois University’s Information Technology Services is seeking qualified applicants for an open IT Technical Associate- Web/API Programmer II. This position designs, creates, maintains, and troubleshoots applications for the University’s ERP, Ellucian Banner.

Responsibilities will include:
• Design, develop, and maintain secure dynamic web applications utilizing php, laraval, pl sql, and mysql.
• Integrate banner web applications using internal and external APIs.
• Analyze problems by users and aide in resolutions which can be applied to the applications.
• Create and develop unit tests for banner/web applications.
• Work with campus units to understand objective, test functionality/data integrity, obtain project sign off, and document code.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

CREDENTIALS TO BE VERIFIED BY PLACEMENT OFFICER
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Any one or any combination totaling two (2) years (24 months) from the following categories:
A. College coursework which includes Information Technology (IT), IT Management, Programming, IT systems, or a closely related discipline, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
? 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
? Associate’s Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
? 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
? Bachelor’s Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)
B. Work experience in IT-related functions, such as hardware/software support, programming, network design, network engineering, IT systems integration, or closely related field.
3. Based on position requirements, additional education, training, and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position may be required.

Salary

$4,000-5,000 monthly

Salary range is $4,000-5,000 monthly.
