Job Description

Office Manager – Office of Accessibility & Accommodations
Eastern Illinois University is seeking candidates for a full-time Civil Service position of Office Manager in the Office of Accessibility & Accommodations. This position will be responsible for general office support duties.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Maintaining department communications: phone, mail, email, in person.
• Maintaining the department calendar, including scheduling student meeting.
• Filing and maintaining confidential student record.
• Maintain budget and purchasing of departmental materials.
• Generate reports and lists containing student information.
• Attend university events such as Panther Fairs and Open Houses on behalf of the department, as able.
• Maintain national honor society records for the department.
• Other duties as assigned.


Candidates must meet the following requirements:
1. High school graduation or equivalent.
2. Two (2) years (24 months) of work experience comparable to that performed at the Office Support Specialist level of this series or other positions of comparable responsibility.
