Job Description

This position performs promotional and communications duties for the Office of Parking and Transportation. This position also performs various types of customer service duties and supports the daily operations of the Office of Parking and Transportation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s or equivalent degree.
2. One or a combination of the following totaling one (1) year (12 months) of full time (or part-time equivalent) work experience in customer service:
-Communication outreach promoting services and/or providing information to customers
-Product services branding
-Point-of-purchase sales, including cash handling and credit card/cash transaction processing
-Program development


Preferred Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
2. Experience with social media platforms such as Twitter, YouTube, TikTok or Instagram including maintaining business or professional accounts.
3. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
4. Knowledge of social media analytics, social media publishing tools, web analytics, and tracking technologies..
5. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, presentation software, spreadsheet software, video creation and editing software, web page creation and editing software, and analytical or scientific software.

Salary

$18.50-$19.50/hour
