Job Description

The Tutoring Program Specialist in Region 4 of the Illinois Tutoring Initiative will provide project support for districts and tutor-PK-12 student matches within their area. The Illinois Tutoring Initiative will provide tutoring services for over 3,500 K-12 students across the state.

Additional Information
The Illinois Tutoring Initiative is a grant-funded project – funded through September 30, 2024 – that will end after funding ceases. This position will not be renewed at the end of the project.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
One year of full-time (or part-time equivalent) work experience in a clerical or educational position
Basic Windows application knowledge, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in education or related field
Experience working in K-12 setting
Experience working as a tutor for K-12 students
Previous experience working on large-scale projects and/or grant-funded projects
General office skills including data entry, typing, telephone, reception

Salary

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
