Job Description

Eastern Illinois University is seeking candidates for a full-time Civil Service position of Office Administrator in the Office of University Development. The successful candidate will be resourceful, able to work independently, have strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task. This position will provide administrative and clerical support to the department. Responsibilities include:
• Coordinate the issuance of donor gift receipts and acknowledgements.
• Assist donors with questions and requests.
• Coordinate with the Business Office and various other university departments to manage donor records.
• Preparation of correspondence, forms, and other documents.
• Manage fiscal transactions and budgets.
• Process travel applications and vouchers.


Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:
1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Any one or combination totaling one (1) unit of the following:
A. Four years (48 months) of work experience comparable to the third level of this series (Office Support
Specialist) = one (1) unit.
B. Two years (24 months) of work experience comparable to the fourth level of this series (Office Manager) =
one (1) unit.


Salary

$2,821/month minimum
