Job Description

The Assistant Athletic Director/Ticket Sales and Operations will be responsible for leading multiple sales campaigns for athletic events and spaces in an attempt to generate new and renewable revenue streams for Redbird Athletics. This position will partner with Development in the generation of leads sheets and sales strategies. This position will be responsible for creating a sales training program that inspires subordinates to continuously improve and drive revenue while maximizing potential of sales team.

This position oversees the daily operations of the Redbird Athletics sales team and ticketing team. This position will focus on implementing strategic and industry-specific best practices for managing an efficient and effective ticket operation, both from an internal perspective and an external facing fan perspective. In addition, this position is responsible for setting, implementing, overseeing, and measuring a long-term strategic sales and ticket revenue plan.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree
2. Minimum one (1) year of full-time or part-time equivalent professional level ticketing or sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Master’s Degree in Business, Sales, Organizational Leadership or related field
2. Two or more years of management experience in sales, development, or other related field


Salary

$50,000 – $55,000 annually

The Civil Service examination for this classification is based on your application materials and responses to the supplemental questions. No participation other than submission of applicant materials is required from applicants that qualify to take the exam. If you meet the minimum required qualifications for this position, you will receive a score calculated based on your education and experience, and your name will be placed on the active employment register by exam score. After the application deadline, the names within the top three scores will be referred to the department for interview. The active register for this classification will be voided when the position is filled.
