Job Description
The Thomas Metcalf Lunch Program Coordinator is the head of the Thomas Metcalf School Lunch Program. This position is responsible for hiring and training of staff, maintaining a budget, billing with support of the Thomas Metcalf Business Manager, food service, ordering, and all related needs.
This position is subject to summer academic break layoff, typically mid-June through the first week of August.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or equivalent degree
Food sanitation management certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
One year of professional level experience working with or around children
Desired Qualifications
Technical skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and basic bookkeeping software.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Supervisory experience.
Salary
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
