Job Description
Home to the School of Teaching and Learning, the Department of Educational Administration and Foundations, and the Department of Special Education, the College of Education is one of the premier teacher education institutions in the nation.
The Director, Facilities and Technology Support Services position manages all aspects of facilities and technology in the college and laboratory schools, including, but not limited to, the following:
-Supervise other technology and facilities personnel in the college
-Represent the college on campus facilities and technology committees
-Administer the college servers/services
-Provide technical support for faculty, staff and students
-Manage and guide technology purchases in the college
-Provide planning documents concerning technology in the college
-Provide facilities support and planning to all departments in the college
-Assist with planning and execution of building construction or renovation
-Oversee physical maintenance and operations of College of Education buildings, facilities, and systems
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Information Technology, IT Management, or a closely related discipline
Three years of progressively more responsible work experience in IT-related profession
Two years of total work experience in a supervisory or lead worker capacity
Desired Qualifications
Master’s degree
Salary
$85,000 annual, combined with an excellent benefits package
