Job Description

Eastern Illinois University invites applications for the position of Program Assistant in the Graduate School. This program assistant position works closely with the Graduate School Dean to manage curriculum changes and graduate program revisions. This position also manages graduate student award programs, oversees the Graduate School website, and helps advice graduate program leaders and students on Graduate School policies. This position also assists with social media program and some recruitment and student support activities.

Qualifications

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in any course of study and:
• One year of experience working in a higher education setting
Preference will be given for candidates with some knowledge of graduate education, along with candidates who have excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to diversity and experience with promoting inclusive excellence is required.
