Job Description

The Information Technology Services at Eastern Illinois University is seeking candidates for the position of IT Technical Associate – Linux System Administrator. Duties of this position are to install, maintain, and monitor various Linux servers at EIU. The position will be responsible for administration of the Enterprise Resource Planning system, web server software, and MySQL database services.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should have two years of progressively more responsible work experience with System Administration or a Associate’s degree in IT or computer technology related field and one year of the above experience.
