Job Description
The Coordinator's primary responsibility is to arrange and secure student teaching placements within the Office of Clinical Experiences and Licensure Processes (CELP), which is housed in the Cecilia J. Lauby Teacher Education Center. The Coordinator will collaborate effectively with internal and external constituents, develop and maintain relationships with school/agency partners, and share cross team responsibilities in the fast-paced environment of the Cecilia J. Lauby Teacher Education Center.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Master's or equivalent degree in teaching or related field.
Current or previously held PK-12 teaching license.
Three (3) or more years of PK-12 teaching experience.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at the department, university, and public school levels.
Demonstrated ability to support a diverse and welcoming environment.
Desired Qualifications
Experience working with pre-service teacher candidates.
Successful experience in the supervision of clinical experiences.
Demonstrated effective communication skills (written, verbal, face-to-face) with large groups.
Familiarity with ISU campus and ISU teacher education programs.
Salary
$44,441 - $50,000 annual, commensurate with experience and qualifications
