Job Description

This position will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements for business intelligence requests and for completing assigned business intelligence artifact builds, change requests, and incidents. This position will also manage marketing and other communications with the business users. Additionally, this position will be responsible for assisting with BI systems security.

Through our Technology Support Center and our highly trained staff, Technology Solutions looks to improve the campus experience for all students, faculty, staff, and the rest of the campus community.

The Enterprise Data and Analytics (EDA) team provides a strong business intelligence environment that helps the University make informed and strategic decisions. This groups manages the Institutional Data Warehouse and provides data access and training.


Bachelor's or equivalent degree in or related to one of the following areas: Technology, Business, or Mathematics.
Three (3) or more years of experience gathering business requirements.
Three (3) or more years of experience interacting with end-users and key stakeholders on technology initiatives.
Three (3) or more years of experience using or supporting transactional source systems.
Two (2) or more years of experience in the design and delivery of reports or applications.
Two (2) years of experience in Higher Education


$60,000 - $65,000 annual

The Civil Service examination for this classification is based on your application materials. No participation other than submission of applicant materials is required from applicants that qualify to take the exam. If you meet the minimum required qualifications for this position, you will receive a score calculated based on your education and experience, and your name will be placed on the active employment register by exam score. After the application deadline, the names within the top three scores will be referred to the department for interview. The active register for this classification will be voided when the position is filled.
