Job Description

The Pediatric Medical Assistant (Credentialed/Certified) is responsible for assisting in the daily activities of the clinic operation, performing a variety of clinical and clerical tasks in an outpatient clinical setting. Primary responsibilities include taking vital signs, putting patients in rooms, reviewing Electronic Health Record (EHR) to ensure completeness of medical record and assisting the provider or nurse with treatments.

This position is Mon – Friday, First Shift, Non-Exempt, and Union


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
• High school graduation or equivalent required
• Possession of a current/valid medical assistant certification by an approved certifying board as defined by the employing institution required

Preferred:
• Peds experience preferred.
