Job Description

General Summary
The Associate Director is primarily responsible for:
1. Education: Developing, facilitating and assessing curricula and programs for the campus community in the areas of antiracism, diversity, equity and inclusion.
2. Outreach and communication: Developing cross-campus partnerships to support center access and engagement. Coordinate communications on behalf of the Center.
3. Peer development & support programs: Developing and managing a peer led and peer support programs.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
Master's or equivalent degree in Student Affairs, Student Personnel, Social Work, Education, Ethnic or Women’s Studies, or similar program.
Minimum of three years of post-master’s degree, full time professional experience in antiracist, equity, and justice programming that advocates and programs for historically marginalized populations
Experience in successfully developing, facilitating, and assessing programs
Desired Qualifications
Experience supervising/mentoring professional or student staff

The Civil Service examination for this classification is based on your application materials. No participation other than submission of applicant materials is required from applicants that qualify to take the exam. If you meet the minimum required qualifications for this position, you will receive a score calculated based on your education and experience, and your name will be placed on the active employment register by exam score. After the application deadline, the names within the top three scores will be referred to the department for interview. The active register for this classification will be voided when the position is filled.
