Job Description
This position relates directly to new student outreach with emphasis on the recruitment of qualified prospective students. The position serves as a liaison with appropriate offices and agencies and conducting public presentations on financial aid programs. The Financial Aid Advisor is involved in the planning and administration of all recruitment and retention activities and programs. This position includes some responsibility for middle school outreach and recruitment of a diverse student population.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
1. Any one or combination totaling three (3) years (36 months) from the categories below:
a. College course work in any field:
-Associates Degree (60 semester hours) equals one (1) year (12 months)
-90-semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
-Bachelor's Degree or higher (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)
b. Work experience coordinating office, business or customer service/relations activities
2. One (1) year (12 months) of full time (or part-time equivalent) of higher-education, student services, or closely related experience.
3. If this is a Security Sensitive position or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University Policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.

Salary
$2,964 - $3,084/monthly
