    Responsible for the general internal office human resource function for the University System employees.

Food Service Area Supervisor

Job Description

Eastern Illinois University’s Panther Dining is seeking a Food Service Area Supervisor in the Food Court.
Due to the nature of our business, the employee should expect to work nights and weekends. The pay rate is $16.00 to $17.00/hour with $.75 second shift Premium when working nights.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
• Be responsible for opening and/or closing facility
• Supervise 10 full time staff members and approx. 60 student workers
• Promote good customer relations
• Supervise operations of an area of the Food Court
• Supervise and assist in preparation and service of food
• Supervise and assist in routine maintenance and cleaning
• Maintain necessary records
• Assist with the training of employees
• Promote good safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist with development and practice of security regulations

Qualifications

Three (3) years of food service experience. (High school education may be substituted for food service experience on the basis of two years of education being equal to one year of food service experience.)

Salary

16.00 to 17.00
