Job Description
The Enterprise Data & Analytics (EDA) unit is responsible for scoping, designing, and delivering solutions to business problems using a combination of enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence frameworks. The Assistant Director is charged with overseeing and coordinating data analytics, data analysis, technical design, developing ETL applications, and supporting existing ETL applications within the Enterprise Data & Analytics unit. The person in this position assists the Executive Director in helping the University optimize its data assets by understanding and promoting best practices in data management, customer service, business intelligence applications, data quality, and data security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's or equivalent degree
2. Three (3) or more years of experience in data analysis, data mining, data profiling, and conceptual and logical data modeling
3. Working knowledge of design/development/delivery practices of data warehouse/business intelligence solutions
4. Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience in a data focused environment
5. Three (3) or more years of experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business and management needs/requirements
6. Three (3) or more years of experience authoring PL/SQL or complex SQL
7. Foundation qualification in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITILv4) or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
