    Responsible for the general internal office human resource function for the University System employees.

Superintendent of Building Maintenance

Job Description

The Superintendent is responsible for the security, cleanliness, appearance, maintenance and repair of buildings, structures and grounds, the direction of the work of general building trade employees, and for the direction of open job order work. The position also assists with various forms of campus compliance and coordinates the campus parking program. The Superintendent works under administrative supervision of the Executive Director of Fiscal Affairs.

Qualifications

1. Any one or any combination of the following types of preparation:
A. credit for college training leading to a major in engineering or architecture
B. work experience in the construction and maintenance of industrial, public, or institutional buildings that totals 1.0 unit according to the following conversion rates:
? 120 semester hours (or a Bachelor's degree) of "A" = 1.0 unit
? three years of "B" = 1.0 unit
Amounts of education or experience less than those listed above should be converted to decimal equivalents of 1.0 unit and added together when computing combinations of the different types of preparation.
2. Five years of experience in the construction and maintenance of industrial, public, or institutional buildings, in addition to the education/experience required in #1, one year of which was in a supervisory capacity

Minimum annual salary $47,326
