    Responsible for the general internal office human resource function for the University System employees.

Transfer Admission Specialist

Job Description

Assist with creation, organization and implementation of transfer focused student visits, presentations and registration programs

Proactively work with academic departments & existing transfer admissions counselors to develop, update or expand transfer guides

Proactively work with the Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) program to directly communicate with each TAG student every semester to ensure students are on track for transfer and to ensure proper course selection.

Assist in maintaining the Transfer Student website, create direct student communications recruitment publications content and updates.

Maintain a small recruitment territory

Conduct follow-up with prospective students by telephone, social media and/or electronic communication as an active part of recruitment including: selection of registration/NSR date, housing application, scholarship application, and other next steps. ---
Advise students regarding transfer options which may include IAI policies, articulation and course suggestions at the community college. All contacts must be recorded in the University system. Respond to correspondence in a timely manner and work with transfer processing staff to answer direct student inquiries.

Prepare reports regarding transfer student attendance at the direction of the Associate Director

Attend and assist with admissions open house events, group visits, articulation conferences and other events as planned as part of the admissions enrollment strategy.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree
2. One (1) year of experience in an undergraduate admissions program including direct transfer admissions work
