Job Description

The Part-time Broadcast Engineer shares responsibility for the maintenance and improvement of the School of Communication radio and television studios, newsrooms, and lab facilities.


Qualifications

1. High school graduation or equivalent

2. (A) credit for 60 semester hours of college course work, with a minimum of 30 semester hours in electrical engineering or electronics
or
(B) Associate degree in electronics or radio/television engineering
or
(C) successful completion of a trade or vocational school program in electronics or radio/television engineering lasting two academic years
or
(D) 18 months of experience in radio and television engineering or television engineering
or
(E) any combination of A - D that totals 18 months

3. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, then employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.


Salary

$20.29-$26.38 per hour
