Job Description

This position is responsible for fiscal operations of the Office of the President, Media Relations, and Presidential and Trustee Events. Oversees budgets, processes vouchers, maintains fiscal records, and produces fiscal reports.


Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in business, accounting, finance, or related field.

2. Two years of full time experience with budget preparation, fiscal management and fiscal oversight at a department level.

3. Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel as a fiscal management tool.

4. Demonstrated experience generating, managing, and analyzing fiscal statements and reports.

5. Demonstrated ability to apply basic accounting techniques.

6. Demonstrated ability with various fiscal computer applications (Datatel, iPeople, Budget Center, and similar applications).

7. Demonstrated experience with hiring and on-boarding processes.

8. Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise judgment.

9. Demonstrated verbal communication skills, analytical skills, and writing skills.

10. Demonstrated ability to compile financial reports and make sound financial and managerial decisions.

11. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.


Salary

$20.29-$26.38 per hour
