Job Description
The Office Manager's primary responsibilities are for overall general office management within the Career Center. This includes, but is not limited to, ordering office supplies, serving as the contact person for off-campus vendors, Facilities Management, and other internal and external stakeholders, as it relates to general office management.
The Office Manager also provides support to Career Center staff. Work load amongst these duties will vary depending on the schedule of activities within the Career Center.
Qualifications
1. High school graduation or equivalent.
2. Two (2) years (24 months) of work experience comparable to the third level of this series. This work includes performing a wide variety of office support tasks, which require the use of judgment and initiative and the ability to operate computer systems, using word processing, database and software packages. Knowledge of the organization, programs, practices and procedures of a department/unit is central to the performance of the duties.
If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, then employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.
Salary
$15.64 - $16.42 per hour
