Physician's Assistant in Medicine

Class Code 0346
Class Notice Effective 6/1/2022, this classification and/or classification series has been discontinued and is no longer being supported by the University System office. Any new or vacant positions that have traditionally been designated to this/these classifications should be reviewed and designated to another similar active classification.

Current incumbents in this discontinued classification are allowed to maintain their status and title in the discontinued classification. However, employers are not allowed to assign or designate any new positions or employees to this discontinued classification.

Salary Range Data

The State Universities Civil Service System office, on behalf of the Merit Board, approves salary rates and ranges for each authorized classification in use by Employers. Employers request Merit Board approval to establish, revise, correct, or delete pay rates or ranges through the Salary Data System, a web-based electronic approval process. All approved rates and ranges are compiled into a monthly report available in PDF format on the Salary Range Report page. This report is updated on the 15th (approximately) of each month. Listed below are actual, real-time, active pay ranges contained in the Salary Data System.

However, they are based on calculations using the work week and hours per year based on the State of Illinois Central Payroll System calculations, and may not be completely accurate in certain circumstances (i.e. employees paid bi-weekly).
