Job Description

The State Universities Civil Service System is searching for a full-time human resource professional with knowledge and experience in compliance and classification plan management procedures. This position will develop, prepare, and perform ongoing analysis of job specifications and pre-employment examinations for a complex statewide civil service classification system, as well as assist in performing biennial human resource audits of associated employers. This position will collect, analyze, and evaluate standardized electronic data and data collection processes utilized in the administration, maintenance, and audit of a complex classification system and personnel plan. Occasional in-state travel is required.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree with two years of professional-level human resource experience or coursework or specific training/experience in human resources is required, with some background in classification plan management processes preferred. Professional oral and written communication skills and capabilities are required. Applicants must have ability to work with electronic data collection and processing software. A basic understanding of the civil service system and proficiency in various computer programs is strongly preferred. Knowledge and experience with other human resource electronic information systems is also preferred.


Salary

Salary will be commensurate with education level and experience.
