Job Description

The primary duties are to provide secretarial support to the School's main office and the Associate Director of Graduate Programs. Main responsibilities include providing main office support via phone, email, and in-person interaction. Graduate program support includes creating and maintaining student databases and files, working with comprehensive examination paperwork, entering overrides, and processing tuition waivers. Other support activities may include ordering textbooks for faculty's courses, handling all office supply inventory for the School, collecting and organizing faculty publications for media relation purposes, and coordinating the School's IRB process by maintaining log and assigning IRB's for review.

This position is subject to July academic break layoff.


Qualifications

1. High school graduation or equivalent

2. Twenty-four (24) months of clerical/office support work experience comparable to that performed at the Office Support Specialist level of this series or in other positions of comparable responsibility.

If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, then employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.


Salary

$15.33 - $16.10 per hour
