Job Description
The Department of Mathematics at Illinois State University seeks an experienced Instructional Designer to support the development of a fully online Actuarial Science program. The successful candidate will work with subject matter experts to design or adapt coursework for online learning. We seek to create a program that will provide students with a high-quality experience while preparing them to be leaders in the field of actuarial science.
Qualifications
1a. Master's degree in education, educational psychology, instructional design and development, educational technology, or the humanities (such as history, political science, literature, journalism, communications, or philosophy)
and
Six (6) months of experience which included any of the following areas: professional writing or editing, audiovisual design and/or production, design and/or production of evaluation tools, education programming, curriculum development, or classroom teaching.
OR
1b. Bachelor's degree in education, educational psychology, instructional design and development, educational technology, or the humanities
and
Eighteen (18) months of experience which included any of the following areas: professional writing or editing, audiovisual design and/or production, design and/or production of evaluation tools, education programming, curriculum development, or classroom teaching.

You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.
Salary
$20.29 - $26.38 per hour
