Job Description

The Department of Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality (EMDH) is one of 12 departments within the Division of Student Affairs. It provides the campus community and guests with high-quality, efficient, and innovative event services and dining options in a variety of settings dedicated to accentuating and enhancing the campus experience in a diverse community.

This position is responsible for the daily operation and management of one or more of the retail operations as well as assisting with the management of others. Retail operations consist of five franchised restaurants (Einstein Bros. Bagels, McAlister's Deli, Pizza Hut, sStarbucks & Burger King) plus two self-branded coffee shops and a high school store. This position will be responsible for the scheduling, product procurement, training, supervision, discipline administration as well as overseeing food products, cash handling, and customer service.

Qualifications

1. High School diploma or equivalent.

2. Four (4) years of food service management experience (University training in dietetics, in hotel, restaurant, or institutional management, or in related fields may be substituted, year for year, for experience).

3. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, then employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.

Salary

$2,647 - $3,442 per month
